I actually went parasailing today. I thought I was going to be all tough about it. Rick was whining more than I was…..that was until we actually started to fly. HOLY SHIT!!!! I thought I was going to fall out. I thought the rope was going to break and I was going to drift into some crazy hotel, hoping to land in their swimming pool. Rick just sat back and commented on how peaceful it was. How can he think it was peaceful? We were being towed behind a boat. We were floating God knows how high in the sky and the only thing that was keeping me from crashing to earth was a mooring rope.

The best part about it was that Little Mama and Toad actually went first. How was I supposed to back down now that they had actually done it first. They survived, I guess I would too. We actually went parasailing in this small boat type craft that was then connected to the parachute. It was launched right on the back of the boat that was towing us. This made it easier for us to launch so that we did not have to run along the beach before we lifted off.

After doing it and being safely back on the beach you may wonder…..Will he do it again? HELL YEAH I WILL…..I think I might just try the harness and running along the beach next time.

Today is Good!!! I am finally hanging out in one of my favorite places. The beach. I arrived in Cancun for some rest and relaxation and little bargaining, I can’t pass up a good deal. Rick’s Mom and Dad came with us and that means it is bound to be a fun time. I wish Little Mama and Toad lived a little closer to us so we could see them more. Rick and I always have a good time when we are able to spend some time with them.

This is my third time to Cancun, I am staying at the Royal Caribbean Resort. It is a timeshare that one of Rick’s friends let us use. We are staying right on the beach and how nice it is to be sitting out on the deck and reading a magazine and drinking my morning coffee. This week I have decided to start out my mornings even better and I have added a little…..ok more than a little….Baileys to my coffee each morning.

Today we are just relaxing the day away….the swim up bar in the pool is sounding pretty inviting right now….That is if I can pull myself away from staring the afternoon away into this beautiful BLUE Caribbean water.

I thought the saying went …. “April Showers Bring May Flowers”. 

NOT TRUE!!!!

This year it is …”April Flowers Bring May Snow Showers”.

 Yes it snowed off and on all day today!!!!
