Doggie Styles

I am missing my doggies. It has been over a week since I had wet noses in my ears and more slobbery kisses then I knew what to do with. I knew that I wasn’t going go to be able to see them until Sunday so I needed my fix somehow. I decided to wander around Rodeo Drive and see if I could find a Doggie Store… I bought Maddie Moo a new collar from Louis Vuitton and found new Rodeo Drive collar charms for both Tko and Maddie at Tiffany’s. But the best store I found was Doggie Styles. Doggie Styles is the coolest dog store I have ever found in my many travels around the world. No matter where I travel I am always looking for toys or jewelry to take home to my girls. Doggie Styles has the biggest selection of jewelry for dogs that I have ever seen. I ended up buying each of the girls two new collars with matching leashes. Here comes the bling. I will be posting modeling pictures of the girls as soon as I get home.

Yes, Doggie Styles has the biggest selection of dog collars I have ever seen, but that is not the best thing about this store. I walked into this store and there are two resident dogs…….A Fawn Boxer named Hemi and a portly brindle French Bulldog named Buttons. I could not have been happier. I will be visiting my two new friends on a daily basis to get my Doggie Fix.

Reds vs Red Sox

I have been in Cincinnati this week on business. I really like Cincinnati, it is a cool older town with a lot of character and excitement about it. I love sitting in the Fountain Square across from the hotel and watching people while I eat some ice cream or watch the local game on the giant TV perched high above the buildings. During lunch everyday there is a concert at the Fountain Square and business individuals eating lunch. It has been an exciting time.

I also try and go to a Cincinnati Reds game while I am here. I am not a huge sports fan, but it is a lot of fun chilling with a beer and watching baseball as I relax for the evening. This year the Reds were playing the World Series Champions - The Boston Red Sox.  It has been longer then 30 years since the Boston Red Sox had been to Cincinnati to play. In an ironic point, the last time the Boston Red Sox were in Cincinnati was during the 1975 World Series, where they lost to the Cincinnati Reds. Once again the Boston Red Sox lost to the Cincinnati Reds.

It was a rainy day, but that didn’t stop Mary, John and I from going to the game and watching Americas Pastime………

Graduation

After much bribing and practice, Maddie finally graduated from Puppy School. She managed to pass all of her final exams - Leave It, Come, Stay, Sit, Down.  She did it all and was more than eager to do her tricks thanks to my secret weapon of string cheese. Maddie will do anything for some string cheese so I snuck some string cheese to help “Convince” Maddie to pass her tests…. Next on to the special trick class.
